I was just using youtube with adblocker for a while so I didn't check, now I'm trying to use invidious and every instance says it's blocked by youtube. I fucking hate google and I hope every google employee commits suicide. How long has invidious been kill?

youtube addict baby can't suckle on google's teat. invidious.privacyredirect.com seems to work currently, maybe some others are back up too?

Heard of Freetube? It's yt frontend that's trying to be private by utilizing invidious instances. It should always randomize and pick working instance whenever you start it.

It seems like i might have just got unlucky and many instances were blocked at the same time, seems to have been working better since my OP.

inv.nadeko.net is alive and the admin seems to care enough about the instance that he actively develops his own version. yewtu.be used to work, then it broke, but as of a few days ago it's back and also works.

My settings do not seem to be updating. I have changed and saved the settings.py file. Do I have to recompile something?

Wow, this is a truly wonderful service. The TOR feature is especially amazing. And simple to setup. Finally filled the inv shaped hole in my heart.
